Offline-first desktop point-of-sale for shops and retail: barcode scanning, VAT calculation, receipt printing and a fiscal-integration-ready architecture.
About the product
Kassia is an offline-first desktop POS built for the Azerbaijani market — shops, pharmacies and other retail points. The checkout screen works with scan-wedge barcode scanners; receipt totals, VAT and discounts are computed with cent-level precision — money is stored as integers, so floating-point errors are impossible. The receipt-logic core is written with 100% test coverage.
Thanks to a Hardware Abstraction Layer it is ready for receipt printer, barcode scanner, bank terminal and fiscal module integrations; virtual drivers allow testing without hardware. It ships with admin and cashier PIN logins, a local SQLite database, automatic migrations and a Windows installer — sales never stop when the internet goes down.
